ResizeNest
Support
ResizeNest resizes copies of photos you choose on your Android device. It can fit or crop photos, adjust output size, create JPEG, PNG or WebP files, and optionally add a text watermark.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose photos? Use Android Photo Picker, or the system document picker when Photo Picker is unavailable. ResizeNest reads only the items you select; it does not scan your photo library.
Are my original photos changed? No. ResizeNest reads the selected original and creates a new file in the output folder you choose. It does not edit or delete the original.
Where are photos processed? On your device. ResizeNest has no network permission or app server and does not send selected photos or metadata to Yasin Güven. If you choose a cloud-backed folder or share an output with another app, that provider or receiving app handles the file under its own terms.
What happens to metadata? Metadata is removed from new files by default. You can preserve supported EXIF capture fields; GPS is kept only if you also enable the separate GPS option. Other metadata such as XMP, IPTC, MakerNotes, device identifiers and embedded thumbnails is not copied.
Where are settings and completed files kept? Preferences and the URI of your selected output folder stay in app-private settings on your device and are excluded from Android backup and device transfer. Selected photo URIs are not saved as history. Completed files are saved with the folder or document provider you choose, which controls its own storage and backup behavior.
How does sharing work? Tap Share and choose a receiving app in Android’s share sheet. ResizeNest offers the completed output files you selected; the receiving app controls what it does with them.
