DAV Drive · Android

Privacy Policy

DAV Drive for Android has no developer-operated account or cloud service. The developer does not collect or receive the server details, credentials, or files that you use in the app. DAV Drive includes no advertising or analytics SDK.

Connections to your WebDAV server

The app uses Android’s Internet permission only for the WebDAV actions you start. It connects directly to the HTTPS server address that you enter. The server you choose receives the requests, account information, and file content needed to carry out those actions. The server is controlled by you or its operator, not by the app’s developer. The app does not send WebDAV data to a developer server.

Information stored on your device

Saved server names, addresses, and user names are kept in app-private storage on your device. A saved password is encrypted with an AES key held in Android Keystore. If you approve a server certificate’s SHA-256 fingerprint, that fingerprint is also saved on your device for that server.

Files you download are saved on your device. When you upload a file, its contents are sent to the WebDAV server you selected. DAV Drive does not keep a developer-side copy.

Google Play review

If you choose “Rate app,” DAV Drive may open Google Play’s in-app review flow or its store page. Google Play operates those services under its own privacy terms.
